Kelowna’s food scene just keeps getting better — from brunch spots that feel like home to wineries that make you want to linger long after your glass is empty. We get asked “Where should we eat in Kelowna?” all the time, and honestly, it’s one of our favourite things to share. Whether you’re planning a fancy dinner by the water, grabbing a patio drink at sunset, or just hunting for the best pizza in town, there’s no shortage of amazing spots to dig in.
We’ve lived (and eaten) our way through the Okanagan for years, so this roundup covers all our favourite places — from hidden cafés to winery escapes. Ready to eat your way through Kelowna with us? Let’s go.
Best Patios in Kelowna
Maestro’s – It doesn’t get more lakeside than this. The patio literally sits over the water, with unbeatable views and Mediterranean-inspired dishes that always hit.
Earls on Top – A true downtown classic. Great energy, solid happy hour, and a rooftop view that makes every cocktail taste better.
Oak + Cru – We love how this one blends elegance with ease. Nestled inside the Delta Grand, it’s a calm pocket by the water — perfect for date night or brunch with friends.
Hotel Eldorado – A timeless Kelowna favourite. Between the marina views, cozy nautical charm, and those sunset dinners, it never misses.
Broken Anchor – Slightly off the beaten path, this patio is tucked along Lakeshore and feels like a hidden gem. Great seafood, casual vibe, and a killer view of the sailboats.
Best Breweries & Bars
King Taps – Always buzzing! Lake views, upbeat energy, and some of the best pizza-and-pint combos
Office Brewery – A newer favourite — their cocktail and dessert flights are ridiculously fun, and their in-house beer lineup keeps things fresh.
Red Bird Brewing – Feels like hanging out at a friend’s backyard party — picnic tables, live music, and a super-chill crowd.
Jackknife Brewing – Sourdough pizza, craft beer, and the kind of local art-meets-grunge aesthetic that Kelowna does so well.
Best Winery Patios
Old Vines at Quails’ Gate – Quintessential Okanagan. Cozy, scenic, and full of that vineyard charm that never gets old.
Sunset Organic Bistro at Summerhill – Wrapped in vines with panoramic lake views — it’s everything you dream a winery patio should be. Organic wines, local ingredients, and that laid-back Okanagan feel. Summerhill Pyramid Winery
The Modest Butcher at Mt. Boucherie – They weren’t lying — there’s nothing modest about these views. Great food, big personality, and always a good time.
Annie’s Beach Café – Beachfront dining at a winery. Enough said. Family-friendly, wood-fired pizza, and even private domes in the winter.
Vegan & Plant-Based Favourites
Frankie We Salute You! – Every dish here bursts with flavour. Locally sourced, beautifully plated, and the smoked carrot lox? Unreal.
Naked Café – A downtown staple for vegan comfort food — big bowls, cauliflower tacos, and desserts that actually taste like treats.
Karat Chocolate Café – Yes, it’s a chocolate shop, but their brunch and coffee setup is stunning. It’s the perfect spot for a sweet-meets-savory pick-me-up.
Buffalo Rouge Brewing – Great beers, chill atmosphere, and a menu that makes everyone happy — vegan or not.
Brunch Spots We Love
My Neighbourhood Restaurant – Reliable, cozy, and exactly what you want after a night out.
Bohemian Café – A Kelowna must. Fresh-baked bread, homemade jam, and some of the best eggs Benny in town.
The Curious Café – A brunch staple with great energy, wood-fired everything, and a killer breakfast pizza.
Marmalade Cat Café – The heart of the Pandosy neighbourhood — friendly faces, strong coffee, and a cozy atmosphere that feels like home.
Burger Spots Worth Craving
Central Kitchen + Bar – Always top-tier. Their burgers, cocktails, and fries are a triple threat.
Bin 4 Burger Lounge – Gourmet burgers done right. Tons of variety, creative sauces, and excellent service.
Copper Brewing – Burgers, beer, and community vibes. Their smash burgers are perfection after a long day in the sun.
Train Station Pub – Great for casual bites and post-hike hangouts. Their burgers and local beer list are consistently solid.
Pizza Spots That Hit Every Time
Antico Pizza Napoletana – Authentic, wood-fired, and just the right balance of chewy and crispy. Feels straight out of Italy.
DunnEnzies Pizza – A local classic — thin crust, massive slices, and creative toppings (the dill pickle pizza is legendary).
La Bussola Pizzeria – A newer downtown addition, stylish and cozy with amazing truffle pizza and wine pairings.
Jackknife Brewing – Because yes, their beer is great — but their pizzas are on another level too.
Coffee & Café Favourites
Baker's Corner Kelowna - Go-to Spot for all things delicious and the best cup of coffee you'll find anywhere in the city.
Bright Jenny – Our go-to for sunny mornings. Fantastic espresso, vibrant atmosphere, and a patio that’s hard to beat.
Craft 42 Roasters – Coffee nerds, this one’s for you. Precision, flavour, and some of the best latte art in town.
Bean Scene – A local institution. The power cookies and strong house-roasted coffee have loyal fans for a reason.
Pulp Fiction Coffee House – For when you want to slow down — cozy, quirky, and full of personality.
Sweet Spots & Ice Cream
Parlour Ice Cream – Always top of our list. Hand-crafted small-batch flavours that change seasonally, right by the waterfront.
QB Gelato & Bakery – For when you want something creamy and elevated. Their tiramisu gelato is next-level.
Sushi & Asian Favourites
Bluetail Sushi – Consistently fresh and beautifully presented.
Momo Sushi – Quick, classic, and perfect for lunch downtown.
O‑Zeki Japanese Restaurant – Traditional, authentic, and always delicious.
Soy Asian Fusion – A hidden gem — casual, friendly, and their poke bowls are a must-try.
Greek Favourites
Olympia Greek Taverna – Huge portions, warm service, and that nostalgic family-run vibe.
Yamas Greek Restaurant – Cozy atmosphere, amazing moussaka, and platters big enough to share.
Theos – Upscale yet homey — every dish feels like a celebration.
Kelowna’s food scene has that perfect mix — small-town charm with big-city flavour. Whether we’re grabbing brunch downtown, sipping wine by the lake, or ending the day with wood-fired pizza and local beer, there’s always something new to discover.
So round up your friends, book a table (or a few), and start eating your way across town — trust us, your foodie list is about to get way longer.
